PROJECT TURNABOUT IS EXCITED TO ANNOUNCE A DATE, VENUE, AND FORMAT CHANGE FOR “APPETITE FOR LIFE 2012!”
The 8th Annual “Appetite for Life” Gala will be held on Friday, May 4, 2012 at the Calhoun Beach Club in Minneapolis, MN. This year’s event will be held “reception” style with guests enjoying food prepared at vaious chef stations. This interactive culinary event and silent auction raises funds for Project Turnabout’s “Another Chance for Life” fund, which provides scholarships to individuals and families seeking treatment and recovery from a gambling addiction. 100% of the event proceeds solely benefit patient and family aid.
Over 350 attendees are expected and will enjoy an evening of fine food prepared by renowned local chefs, great entertainment and unique silent auction items. In addition, guests will leave with a heightened awareness of the critically needed services Project Turnabout’s Vanguard Compulsive Gambling Treatment Program provides to patients and families throughout the state of Minnesota, across the United States and beyond.
The event will once again be hosted by Chefs Larry D’Amico and Seth Bixby Daugherty and WCCO Radio Personality Sue Zelickson.
