Thank You for Your Support of Project Turnabout’s Patients and Families

Project Turnabout would like to thank all of you that have kept us in your thoughts over this past year. This time of year is so special because it reminds us of all the remarkable people that have made a positive difference in the lives of our patients and families. Every gift of time, talent, or philanthropic investment is so greatly appreciated and truly played a part in making 2011 a wonderful year for our patients, families, and staff.

This is a time of reflection and gratitude, so we’d like to share the abundance of hope and transformation we’ve seen at Project Turnabout this past year.  We were blessed to be able to provide treatment services to more than 1,400 individuals and families, accounting for 34,367 days of residential treatment, 8,202 outpatient treatment visits, and 1,310 educational visits, domestic abuse program, diversion classes and DWI clinics.  Because of people and organizations like you, Project Turnabout was also able to help more than 200 individuals and families by disbursing more than $157,000 for scholarship support raised through our annual appeals, fundraising events, and contributions from individuals and organizations.

From our hearts to yours, please continue to think of Project Turnabout’s patients and families when considering your charity of choice for your year-end giving.  We want to be able to provide help and hope for even more people next year.  If you are planning on making a year-end financial investment, we encourage you to do so and assist our patients and their families in starting their recovery journey!

100% of every dollar received directly impacts our patients and the next generation as well.  It changes their lives.  Please make your year-end tax-deductible donation, memorial or honorary gift by contacting Mark Sannerud, Director of Development and Marketing/Outreach at 320-564-4911 or msannerud@projectturnabout.org.

You may also give online at http://projectturnabout.org/donations/.

All of us at Project Turnabout wish you a happy and healthy New Year!

Supporting Access for Recovery

Thanks to individuals and organizations like you, Connie* was able to celebrate her son’s 4th birthday with balloons and cake – without being under the influence of alcohol and drugs. If I hadn’t been given the financial opportunity to complete treatment at Project Turnabout, my son would have been celebrating his birthday in foster care. It’s only after finding recovery that I was able to get my family back.”

Project Turnabout would like to thank each and every one of you for your support of the 1,400 patients and families, just like Connie’s, that have gone through our alcohol, drug, and/or gambling treatment programs this past year. This year alone, because of you, more than $157,000 in scholarship assistance was distributed to help over 200 individuals and families enter treatment and find recovery.

Project Turnabout is kicking off our annual appeal on Wednesday, November 16th, 2011 during the 3rd annual “Give to the Max” day. We invite you to join us in providing the opportunity for people to enter treatment and receive the help they need. To participate in this giving event please click here or log on to www.GiveMN.org, search for “Project Turnabout” and click on the donate button. Every dollar donated will go directly to support Project Turnabout’s patients and families seeking treatment.

Whether you have contributed in the past or are contributing for the first time, we appreciate your thoughtful consideration and thank you for your support. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact Mark Sannerud or Stefanie Ryan at 1-800-862-1453 or via email at msannerud@projectturnabout.org or sryan@projectturnabout.org.

Project Turnabout Thanks the Caring & Sharing Golf Tournament Business Partners

Project Turnabout would like to recognize and thank the $100, $50, and $25 “Business Partners” of the 2010 Caring & Sharing Golf Tournament, which will be held on Saturday, August 21, 2010.  100% of the tournament’s proceeds are solely designated to benefit the “Caring & Sharing” fund.  This fund offers financial assistance to patients and families needing chemical dependency services.  Since the first tournament was hosted in 1992, it has generated nearly $220,000.00 for the Caring & Sharing Fund.  This, in turn, has benefited hundreds of individuals and families who come to us for help. This is quite an accomplishment, and we are extremely grateful for everyone’s support that helps make this possible.
