Thanks to individuals and organizations like you, Connie* was able to celebrate her son’s 4th birthday with balloons and cake – without being under the influence of alcohol and drugs. “If I hadn’t been given the financial opportunity to complete treatment at Project Turnabout, my son would have been celebrating his birthday in foster care. It’s only after finding recovery that I was able to get my family back.”

Project Turnabout would like to thank each and every one of you for your support of the 1,400 patients and families, just like Connie’s, that have gone through our alcohol, drug, and/or gambling treatment programs this past year. This year alone, because of you, more than $157,000 in scholarship assistance was distributed to help over 200 individuals and families enter treatment and find recovery.

Project Turnabout is kicking off our annual appeal on Wednesday, November 16th, 2011 during the 3rd annual “Give to the Max” day. Your donation to Project Turnabout through GiveMN.org could increase a $10 gift to a $1000 gift.  $1,000 will be given to a random donor’s charity every hour. You could be that donor! One $10,000 “Grand Golden Ticket” will be given out to a random donor’s charity at 11:59p.m.
• Put Project Turnabout on the Leader Board! $15,000, $10,000 and $5,000 prize grants will be awarded to the top three nonprofit organizations which receive the most dollars in 24 hours during “Give to the Max Day.”

Project Turnabout’s 19th Annual Philip J. Kelly “Caring & Sharing” Golf Tournament was held on August 21, 2010 at the Granite Run Golf Course in Granite Falls, MN.  100% of the tournament’s proceeds are solely designated to benefit the “Caring & Sharing” fund.  This fund offers financial assistance to patients and families needing chemical dependency services.  Nearly $18,000.00 net was raised this year, making it very successful event!  This means even more patients and families will be able to receive the help they so desperately need.  Since the tournament’s inception, over $238,000.00 has been raised through the efforts of many contributors to the event.  Project Turnabout would like to recognize the following people, organizations and businesses that made the day so successful.  While we cannot name each person by name in the space allotted, please know that your contribution helped make a difference and will continue to make a difference in the lives of those we serve.
