Alumni Coordinator

Granite Falls

Project Turnabout Centers for Addiction Recovery is seeking an Alumni Coordinator.  This position will work with a team in building strong relationships with Project Turnabout alumni, families and support networks.  Alumni Coordinator will build programs with a purpose to provide access to support, promote recovery, and facilitate engagement with alumni.  Position is full-time; based in Granite Falls, and requires some travel in both rural and metro areas.  Bachelor’s Degree in related field or commensurate experience required.  More information about the organization benefit package may be found on the website.

ADMISSIONS COUNSELOR

Granite Falls

We currently have an opening in our Admissions Department.  The person hired for the position will conduct intake assessments, work with referral sources to allow to assist patients through the admission process, have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, be computer literate, may also complete Rule 25 Assessments, be able to build a rapport with referents and persons in the legal system, and have an understanding of the illness of addictions.  Applicants must be licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselors, nurses, or licensure in the Mental Health field. 

CD TECHS

Marshall, MN

Project Turnabout has openings for part time Chemical Dependency Techs in Granite Falls and Marshall. The people that are hired will be cross trained in various units in Granite Falls to allow for flexibility in work schedules.   Shifts may vary; we are seeking persons that are able to work overnights and weekends, possibility of some days in Marshall.   These positions require you to work directly with patients, some office duties and some light housekeeping chores.   Applicants must be at least 18 years old, have a good driving record and be able to pass a MN Dept. of Human Services criminal background study.

REGIONAL ATOD COORDINATOR

Granite Falls MN

Project Turnabout has an opening for the Regional Alcohol, Tobacco, and Other Drugs Prevention Coordinator. This position is a full time position that covers a 27 county region of Southwestern Minnesota.  The successful candidate will collaborate with communities in assessing and identifying community needs, developing a plan for prevention, and establishing and maintaining prevention programs in their communities.  You should have excellent verbal and written communication skills, be a self-starter, must have excellent facilitation and organizational skills, be able to do public speaking, and be an advocate and role model for prevention.  Extensive travel is required.  Preference will be given to applicants with a Bachelor’s degree in a related field, you will be able to pass a DHS criminal background study and be free from chemical/gambling use problems for at least two years.

Inpatient COUNSELOR

Granite Falls, MN

Project Turnabout is a MN.  non-profit system of care that is dedicated to providing treatment to individuals with alcohol, drug and gambling problems.  Our main campus in Granite Falls was expanded and completely refurbished in 2015.  Today it is a 122-bed, 78000 sq. ft. modern residential treatment center. Here we offer gender specific services for both men and women that struggle with addictions to alcohol and drugs.  We also offer our nationally recognized center, Vanguard for problem gambling.    Turnabout offers a full array of services including Outpatient treatment services in 4 locations, a 24 bed transitions program in Marshall, MN, Prevention for 27 counties, and gender specific sober housing in Willmar MN.   Staff reside in a number of communities including: Granite Falls, Montevideo, Willmar and Marshall.

We employ a multi-disciplinary treatment model that integrates onsite medical (detox and physicals), mental health, recreational/activities (full fitness center and gym) in conjunction with addiction counseling that integrates the 12 step principles. We have an electronic medical record along with a number of other technical conveniences.

Project Turnabout is first and foremost mission oriented offering high quality treatment at an affordable rate.  We are CARF Accredited as well as licensed in the State of Minnesota.  Maintaining a positive work culture is important to us.  We know that we are at our best when we work together in a fear free environment.  Our focus is to help people succeed in their vocation to help others with addiction.

We are currently recruiting committed counselors who want to make a difference in the lives of others.  This position requires applicants to be either licensed or license eligible (Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor – LADC) in the state of MN.  NCRC certification from a different state is most often transferable if the applicant has a BA degree.   We offer competitive salaries and an excellent benefit package, as well as relocation assistance, if needed.

NURSES

Granite Falls, MN

For a new and interesting work experience, Project Turnabout has openings for a PRN Nurse on our Medical Service Unit, typically working one weekend a month.  The Medical Service Unit has 15 detox beds; but nursing staff is responsible for the medical needs of all patients in the program.  The shifts are typically 10 hours, with around the clock services.  If you are an RN/LPN student, we will consider on-the-job training in the field of addictions and mental illness.   Preference will be given to a person with an understanding of addictions, working with a multi-disciplinary team that wants to learn more about working in the field of addiction.
