Current Openings

Counselors

Project Turnabout currently has openings for addiction treatment counselors:

  • 1 Counselor in the inpatient programs in Granite Falls, MN
  • 1 Counselor for outpatient program in Willmar, MN
  • The people we seek will be able to build a rapport with clients, staff, referents, and the community; be a self-starter, and be a team player. Counselors will do individual assessments, group sessions, one to one counseling, complete patient documentation in a timely manner, work with a team to determine individual treatment plans and report patient progress to referral sources.  Some of these positions will involve evening and weekend hours.

Dietary Aides

Project Turnabout has a openings for part time Dietary Aides in the Granite Falls campus location. The person hired will be trained on all three mealtime shifts, 6:30-2:30, and 7-3, and dishwasher 3:30-8 all three are every other weekend, every other holiday, and possible more hours during vacation or people needing time off  You must be at least 18 years old for the dietary aide position, free from chemical/gambling use problems for at least one year, and able to a pass a MN Dept. of Human Services criminal background study.  Some experience is helpful.

Office Assistant

Project Turnabout has an opening for a full time Office Assistant in the Willmar Outpatient Program.  This position is a Monday thru Friday, 8 AM-5 PM position, completing tasks as assigned by staff, answering phones, greeting visitors, setting up appointments for admissions, contacting insurance companies to obtain information for insurance coverage, contacting families, referents, etc. for patient needs, and setting up patient folders.  Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills, be proficient with computer programs and familiar with electronic medical records.  Experience and/or education is preferred.

Housekeeper

Project Turnabout has an opening for a part time Housekeeper at the Granite Falls Main Campus, working two to three days a week and an occasional weekend.  We are willing to work around a school schedule and no experience is needed.   You must be at least 18 years old for the housekeeper position, free from chemical/gambling use problems for at least one year, and able to a pass a MN Dept. of Human Services criminal background study.

HUMAN SERVICE TECHS

Project Turnabout has openings for part time Human Service Techs in Granite Falls and Marshall. The people that are hired will be cross trained in various units in Granite Falls to allow for flexibility in work schedules.   Shifts may vary; we are seeking persons that are able to work overnights and weekends, possibility of some days in Marshall.   These positions require you to work directly with patients, some office duties and some light housekeeping chores.   Applicants must be at least 18 years old, have a good driving record and be able to pass a MN Dept. of Human Services criminal background study.

Mental Health Professionals
Project Turnabout is seeking two Mental Health Professionals, one working the Family program and one working in the Psychology/Mental Health program.  The Family program counselor will be working with the patients and their families to improve family relationships when a patient is in recovery.  The person will conduct group sessions for families and patients and do some counseling for families.

The Mental Health Professional will complete assessments for patients while in treatment and do some one to one sessions for patients struggling in their road to recovery.

Both positions will require the people to be part of a multi-disciplinary team that works together to improve the patient outcomes for a successful recovery.  These positions require a license in a field of mental health, LICSW, LMFT, LPCC, LP, PHD or PsyD.
