Project Turnabout is a non-profit addiction recovery center that provides treatment services for compulsive gambling and chemical dependency. We utilize an abstinence-based, multidisciplinary, approach framed around the 12 Steps of Recovery. We welcome individuals, and loved ones of individuals, who suffer from the disease of addiction to make the initial inquiry for receiving treatment. Project Turnabout’s staff is committed to helping you or your loved one achieve recovery through a comprehensive holistic approach through therapy, education and fellowship.
When you or your loved one comes to Project Turnabout you can be sure of:
Personalized Recovery Plan
Project Turnabout values the unique lives and characteristics of each of its patients. We understand that the needs of individuals struggling with chemical dependency or gambling vary, and we strive to meet those needs by constructing an individualized treatment plan for each patient.
This personalized plan paves the way to each patient’s individual road to recovery, which includes: fellowship, education, spiritual services, therapeutic services, recreation and nutrition services – where individual dietary needs will be met. The individualized treatment plan undergoes weekly review by our multi-disciplinary team to assure that patient’s individual needs are being updated and addressed. Each patient is respectfully involved in their treatment planning to provide proven success. With written consent of the patient, additional outside professionals may be consulted or involved during the individualized treatment planning process. It is important to remember that Project Turnabout takes patient confidentiality seriously and abides by all Federal and State laws and regulations.
Family Wellness Program
Project Turnabout believes that providing education to families/significant others and having the opportunity to communicate in a supportive environment is an integral part of the recovery process and helps the entire family begin the road to recovery. Our family education days offer assistance to both the patients and their family members by building self-esteem and opening communication. Family members have the opportunity to spend time with patients while they are abstinent, possibly for the first time in months or years. Patients and family members learn to talk to each other in an honest and open way regarding addictive behaviors and recovery.
Our family education days provide valuable education on alcohol, drug, and compulsive gambling addictions, emotional support, as well as interactions with other families who are experiencing the same or similar issues. All sessions are facilitated by our Family Counselor (Licensed Professional Counselor) or a Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor from the program which is scheduled to participate. Each program has one day per week which is scheduled for family education. This opportunity is offered free of charge to everyone choosing to participate.
