Women’s Inpatient

Women’s Inpatient

The Center for Women’s Recovery

Our Women’s Inpatient (Residential) Program is located on our Granite Falls Main Campus. Offering women – ages 18 and older – a warm, safe environment for healing that gives respect and dignity, and celebrates empowerment. The program offers opportunities for women to develop the tools necessary to begin their process of recovery and discover some of the barriers in their lives that may challenge long-term recovery.

Licensed professionals facilitate all programming, which includes individual, group and family therapy, as well as mental health, spiritual, and physical fitness services. At the Center, the women live, learn, and grow as a community, and also sharing and building the skills to live free from the grasp of alcohol and drugs.
Personalized Treatment Planning

Each patient’s chemical use, psychological, medical and general health, and physical fitness needs are addressed in a personalized treatment plan. This plan, designed by the patient and the multi-disciplinary treatment team, is grounded by the time-proven 12-Steps and embodies a blend of education, evidence-based therapies, holistic services, and fellowship.

Project Turnabout believes that families are an integral part to lifelong recovery. As a part of their personalized plan, each patient is encouraged to invite as many loved ones participate in our integrated Family Recovery Program as they wish.
What to Prepare For

Length of Treatment
The length of stay at the Men’s Inpatient Center is based on the needs of each patient. For some it may be a couple of weeks (28-45 days) while for others it may require longer periods of time. More time may be required to be fully prepared to face life on its terms, free from the use of alcohol and drugs. For individuals needing longer stays, our long-term care program can accommodate up to 120 days on campus, occasionally longer if necessary.

Is This a Women’s Only Program?
As a community, patients face sensitive issues that could create barriers to recovery. They are given the opportunity to learn strategies and tools to effectively live life to its fullest. Depression, poor self-esteem, physical, sexual or psychological abuse may also play a role in a woman’s addictive history. These topics are often much too personal and sensitive to air in a mixed-gender environment. For these reasons, Project Turnabout embraces an exclusive women’s only environment at the Center for Women’s Recovery.

Team Effort
Each patient works weekly with a personal multi-disciplinary team that includes:
  • Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselors
  • Licensed Mental Health Professionals
  • Licensed Nursing Professionals
  • Certified Personal Fitness Trainer and Dietician
  • Chaplain
Holistic Care
Treatment care at Project Turnabout is all about nurturing health, balancing relationships with oneself and also with loved ones. Emphasis is placed on understanding how addiction relates to relationship and life problems, as well as helping develop coping skills and support systems that allow patients to move confidently into lives of recovery. In addition, a certified personal fitness trainer and dietary manager are available to assist in developing personal wellness and nutrition plans. A fully-equipped fitness center, gymnasium and spiritual center are available on campus. View a photo tour of our Main Campus here.
