Length of Treatment
The length of stay at the Men’s Inpatient Center is based on the needs of each patient. For some it may be a couple of weeks (28-45 days) while for others it may require longer periods of time. More time may be required to be fully prepared to face life on its terms, free from the use of alcohol and drugs. For individuals needing longer stays, our long-term care program can accommodate up to 120 days on campus, occasionally longer if necessary.
Is This a Women’s Only Program?
As a community, patients face sensitive issues that could create barriers to recovery. They are given the opportunity to learn strategies and tools to effectively live life to its fullest. Depression, poor self-esteem, physical, sexual or psychological abuse may also play a role in a woman’s addictive history. These topics are often much too personal and sensitive to air in a mixed-gender environment. For these reasons, Project Turnabout embraces an exclusive women’s only environment at the Center for Women’s Recovery.

Each patient works weekly with a personal multi-disciplinary team that includes:
- Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselors
- Licensed Mental Health Professionals
- Licensed Nursing Professionals
- Certified Personal Fitness Trainer and Dietician
- Chaplain
Holistic
CareTreatment care at Project Turnabout is all about nurturing health, balancing relationships with oneself and also with loved ones. Emphasis is placed on understanding how addiction relates to relationship and life problems, as well as helping develop coping skills and support systems that allow patients to move confidently into lives of recovery. In addition, a certified personal fitness trainer and dietary manager are available to assist in developing personal wellness and nutrition plans.
