Project Turnabout Admission Checklist



Apparel & Outfits

Attire should reflect good taste, suitable for the current weather conditions, and must avoid any negative slogans, symbols associated with mood-altering substances, or clothing related to gambling or sports.


□ Casual Pants (Recommended: 5 to 7 pairs.)

□ Casual Tops (Recommended: 5 to 7 pairs.)

□ Sweatshirt, long sleeve shirt or light jacket.

□ Undergarments (Recommended: 7 to 9 pairs.)

□ Comfortable Clothes for Physical Fitness

□ Appropriate Sleeping Garments

□ Shoes (Casual and Tennis—Slippers are welcome if preferred.)

 

Important Considerations Regarding Clothing

• We encourage wearing T-shirts, sweatpants, and other comfortable attire. 

• Spandex pants are not permitted. Leggings may be worn only if they are paired with a long shirt that reaches mid-thigh. 

• Pants with holes are acceptable, provided the openings are no more than two inches above the knee. 

• The length of shorts or skirts should not be shorter than two inches above the knees. 

• Attire must adequately cover shoulders, stomach, and chest. 

• Clothing that is excessively revealing or features phrases related to mood-altering substances is considered inappropriate and you will be asked to change. 

• Physical Fitness: We recommend T-shirts (no tank tops) and longer shorts (adhering to the two-inch guideline) or sweatpants. 


Laundry Information

• Laundry washers, dryers, and detergent are provided for your use at no cost.

• Please bring your own fabric softer/dryer sheets.

Medications in the Original Bottle with Clear Labeling - 30-Day Supply

□ Prescribing Doctor

□ Pharmacy Name

□ Medication Type

□ Proper Dosing

□ Date Filled

□ Number of Refills

Note: Over-the-counter medications should be kept in their original, sealed packaging. If you regularly take over-the-counter medication, please bring it with you.


Funds for Transactions and Other Expenses

□ A small amount of money is acceptable as desired. Larger quantities should be securely stored for safety and can be accessed as needed.

□ Quarters for carbonated beverages.

□ Funds designated to cover co-pays for prescription medications.

□ Supplies for diabetic testing and a nebulizer for COPD as prescribed.


Miscellaneous Items

□ Personal tobacco items as desired.

Note: Vapes & E-Cigarettes - Prohibited on campus and will be disposed of.


Prohibited Items on Campus

No Electronic Devices

• Cell Phones - Complimentary phone calls are permitted.

• iPods/iPads

• Tablets

• Laptops

• Cameras

• No mouthwash containing alcohol.

• Personal reading materials are not allowed. However, religious, spiritual, and meditation materials are permitted.

• No hobby items (e.g., knitting, puzzles, books, needlecraft).

• No food, snacks, beverages, soda, or candy.

• No pets.

• No new or used pillows, blankets, or stuffed animals.

• Towels or washcloths.

• Picture frames containing glass.

• Vapes & E-cigarettes - Prohibited on campus and will be disposed of.

• Protein/Workout Supplements.

• Opened: Over-the-Counter Medications - Prohibited on campus and will be disposed of.

• Hats, hoodies, bandanas, or any head coverings are prohibited inside the building at all times. No clothing gambling or sport apparel. - Stocking hats are allowed for outdoor use only during winter months.
